International Trade Diploma

This 6-month program is designed for students with excellent English ability and some work experience or post secondary business training looking to fast track their International trade training. By using internationally recognized FITT materials, this program fulfills the initial stages of becoming a Certified International Trade Professional (CITP).

• Student who complete the International Trade Diploma will receive:
  • Canadian College International Trade Diploma
  • FITT Diploma
  • 8 credits towards the International Trade Diploma

Partnership with FITT

Canadian College has partnered with FITT to offer the FITTskills program. FITT (Forum for International Trade Training) is an international trade training and professional certification body. As the only organization of its kind in the world, FITT sets the standards and designs the training programs leading to the Certified International Trade Professional (CITP) designation. FITT’s quality training programs impart knowledge and practical skills that provide a competitive advantage to trade practitioners while elevating their position in world markets.

FITTskills Program

FITTskills is a highly practical, hands-on series of courses that focus on the fundamental aspects of international business. Students may register for these courses as part of our FITT Diploma. Upon successful completion of all eight (8) courses and assessments, students will be awarded a FITT Diploma in International Trade. This diploma fulfills the educational requirement of the CITP designation.

The CITP Designation

The CITP designation is earned by obtaining the FITT diploma and meeting standards and requirements set by FITT. These requirements are: Complete the educational requirement by achieving the FITT diploma; Complete or prove a minimum of one year, full-time, international trade work experience; Agree to the Standards of Ethical Conduct; Pay the annual dues and maintain the membership in good standing; and Engage in ongoing professional development.

CC 139 - 21세기 커뮤니케이션 (21st Century Communication)

기술 발전은 개인간 커뮤니케이션뿐만 아니라 대중 커뮤니케이션, 광고, 회사의 전략을 새롭게 만들고 있습니다. 본 과정에서는 정보 커뮤니케이션 기술력, 사고력, 문제해결 능력, 대인 기술, 글로벌 마인드, 재정, 경제 등에 대해 살펴볼 수 있도록 합니다.

CC 140 – 비즈니스 커뮤니케이션(Business Communication)

오늘날 기업 및 직장 환경에서 필요한 커뮤니케이션 지식을 습득하고 직장 내에서 원활하고 효과적인 의사소통 방법을 학습합니다. 취업에 실질적으로 도움이 될 수 있는 커뮤니케이션 전반의 스킬습득을 위해 이론과 개인 클리닉으로 진행합니다.

CC 205 – 글로벌 창업론(Global Entrepreneurship)

FITT 과목: 각종 무역기구 및 협약 등으로 글로벌 무역 장벽이 IT 컴퓨터 기초 지식 및 직장에서 실무에 활용될 수 있는 각종 소프트웨어 툴에 대해서 학습하게 됩니다. 특히 오늘날 직장 환경에서 요구하는 고급 수준의 소프트웨어 활용 능력을 갖출 수 있습니다.

CC 210 – 국제 무역법(Legal Aspects of International Law)

FITT 과목: 국제 비즈니스 이행 시 기본 법 원리 및 국제 무역 활동의 의미, 지적 재산권 관련 법적 문제 논의, 경쟁과 불신임법, 공공 무역법 등을 학습합니다.

CC 215 – 국제 무역 경영(International Trade Management)

FITT 과목: 경쟁력을 획득하고 효율적으로 국제 무역 활동을 영위할 수 있도록 국제 무역 관행 사례를 학습하고 실제 국제 비즈니스 시에 활용할 수 있는 연습을 합니다.

CC 220 – 무역 금융(Trade Finance)

FITT 과목: 국제 비즈니스 transaction을 성공적으로 할 수 있도록 사용되는 툴/도구와 금융 거래 방법 등을 배웁니다. 상업과 국가간 거래 시 위험 요소를 줄이는 방법, 법적인 의미 등에 대해서 논의함으로써 .. 국제 금융의 특징과 범위 등을 광범위하게 획득한 후 무역 금융의 ‘four pillars’인 위기 관리, 금융과  

CC 260 – 국제 마케팅(International Marketing)

FITT 과목: 국제 비즈니스 환경에서 필수인 마케팅 역할을 소개하고 국제 마케팅 기본 이론을 습득한 후 이를 바탕으로 실제 케이스 스터디를 접하면서 응용합니다.

CC 265 – 국제 시장 진입 전략(International Market Entry)

FITT 과목: 상품 및 서비스 수출 관련 국제 시장 진출 시 시장 진입 전략의 종류와 특징에 대한 기본 이론을 습득한 후 각 전략별 장단점, 실제 기업 사례 등을 가지고 응용합니다.

CC 270 – 글로벌 공급망 관리(Global Supply Chain Management)

FITT 과목: 생산, 재고 관리 절차, 규제, 안전 관리 등에 대한 글로벌 공급망 관리 기초 이론 등에 대해서 학습합니다. 유통 플랜 시 고려해야 할 주요 사항, 비즈니스 플랜에 미치는 영향, 다양한 이동 모드의 장단점, 생산 및 마케팅 분야의 교량역할을 하는 물류 시스템에 대한 총괄적 분석과 관리 방법 등을 학습합니다.

CC 275 – 국제 무역 리서치(Trade Research)

FITT 과목: 현대 글로벌 기업 환경 하에서 합리적인 의사결정 시 필수적인 자료의 수집과 분석, 광범위한 조사 방법을 단계별로 학습하여 실제 국제 무역 리서치를 하게 됩니다.

CC 280b – PLA 포트폴리오(PLA Portfolio)

마지막 학기 과목으로 진로선택, 전문분야의 미래 예측 및 진로탐색을 하며, 재학생들의 희망 직종에 맞는 이력서 및 자기소개서를 작성할 수 있도록 도움을 줍니다.
